The CLIMB Program is Accepting Applications for June Cohorts

Registration for an Organizational Management cohort is scheduled for June 23, 2014 for a Monday evening class to be held at the VA Medical Center in Dayton.

An Information Technology cohort is scheduled to register on June 26, 2014 for a Thursday evening class to be held on the Wilberforce University campus.

All CLIMB Program cohorts meet from 6:00-10:00 p.m. one day a week.

Riverside Research Presents STEM Scholarships to Wilberforce University


DAYTON, OH – April 17, 2014 – Riverside Research, a not-for-profit company with facilities in Beavercreek, Ohio, awarded two scholarships to Wilberforce University for the 2014-2015 academic year. The scholarships are reserved for undergraduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines.

2014 Wilberforce Commencement Ceremony

The Wilberforce University Board of Trustees, along with the Acting President Dr. Wilma Mishoe, Faculty and Staff proudly announce the Graduating Class of 2014. Commencement events will be held on campus in the Alumni Multiplex building, Saturday, May 3, 2014.

Wilberforce University Optimist Club Focuses on Youth

The WU Optimist club provided several services and events for youth in the surrounding communities during the fall 2013 semester. Realizing education is the cornerstone of youth development, members assisted Xenia Board of Education candidate Cheryl Marcus in her successful run for board membership. Members also assisted the Xenia YMCA with Halloween activities for area youth. Customized Halloween cards were given to youth at Dayton Children’s Hospital.
